Once again, Rich has returned with a list of 10 best stocks to buy or watch in the coming month. His last list featured some pretty big winners, so congratulations to everyone who made out like a bandit in June. Also, be sure to check out his April and May lists for more stocks worth following.
As always, today’s list will feature a mix of well-established stocks and pre-explosion stocks. So, without further delay, let’s get to it!
#10 Best Stocks to Buy or Watch in July 2020: Plug Power Inc (NASDAQ:PLUG)
Rich’s first pick is Plug Power, an alternative energy technology provider. PLUG develops hydrogen and fuel cell systems for the material handling and stationary power markets, primarily in North America and Europe. It offers its products to distribution and manufacturing businesses, as well as government agencies through direct product sales force, original equipment manufacturers, and dealer networks.
Earlier this year, Plug Power acquired United Hydrogen, a company with experience in production, distribution, and logistics of liquid hydrogen. This will likely have a meaningful impact on Plug Power’s bottom line, and the move has already boosted PLUG stock.
What’s more, H.C. Wainwright raised its price target on PLUG from $6 to $14. The firm also called the company a “clean energy juggernaut,” following its decision to increase 2024 revenue guidance from $1.0 billion to $1.2 billion.
#9 Best Stocks to Buy or Watch in July 2020: VBI Vaccines Inc (NASDAQ:VBIV)
VBI Vaccines is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company. It is currently advancing the prevention and treatment of hepatitis B, with a vaccine approved for use and commercially available in Israel. This same vaccine also recently completed its Phase 3 program in the U.S., Europe, and Canada.
Rich says that VBIV could experience one of those “spectacular short squeeze events” before the month is out. Over the last week, the stock has been trading gradually higher and was upgraded to a “Strong Buy” by Zack’s Equity Research.
