In the two months since BevCanna Enterprises Inc. (CSE:BEV) (OTCPK:BVNNF) Chief Commercialization Officer Emma Andrews last appeared on RichTV Live, her company has made a bevy of exciting announcements.
BEV is just one of the those pot stocks that always seems to be offering something new. It always has the next way to capitalize on a rapidly growing market. That’s why Rich decided to welcome Andrews back into the studio for an update on BevCanna’s operations and products.
“We’ve been crushing a lot of big milestones for the company,” says Andrews. “This is a very exciting time for us.”
BevCanna’s Exciting Brands
One of the reasons why BevCanna is such an exciting company is that it exclusively targets one of the most exciting sectors of the cannabis space. The company manufactures cannabis-infused beverages and consumer products for in-house brands and white label clients. With decades of experience, the BEV team demonstrates an expertise that is unmatched in the emerging cannabis beverage category.
The company has already been getting a big head start on cannabis drinks. The first of its announced brands is Anarchist Mountain Beverages, which gets its name from BevCanna’s bottling site in the interior of British Columbia. The Anarchist Mountain portfolio will include a variety of THC-dominant beverages, shots, and powdered drink mixes. All products in this line will be designed to evoke the spirit of the Pacific Northwest.
“There will be a range of cannabinoid profiles—from 5 milligrams to 7-and-a-half milligrams to 10 milligrams—so depending on what you want in the evening you can pick your flavor and your potency,” explains Andrews.
The second brand is Grüv Beverages, a line of iced-tea drinks that will offer a balanced CBD and THC profile. Flavors will include herbal, green, and black tea. Grüv Beverages will also be made available in the United States.
“This is something you’re meant to relax and unwind with,” says Andrews. “On the patio, on the beach … after a long day in the sun, it will quench your thirst.”
Cannabis Powder Technology
BevCanna also recently completed testing of its cannabis powder technology. Tests revealed that the technology—known as “Deeper Green”—will easily pass the Cannabis Compliance Regulations set in California. This means that the company’s powdered drinks can be made with reliable, water-soluble infusion manufacturing processes and can offer total dosing confidence for consumers.
According to Andrews, the company’s powdered beverages will be some of the first BevCanna products to hit shelves in California. She says that there’s little competition in that state for cannabis-infused powder drinks and that retailers are “hungry” to offer them as an option to consumers.
Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation
The latest news from BevCanna is that the company has signed a definitive agreement with Clearwater CannGrow Inc. to grow certified organic cannabis on an aggregate, 130-acre piece of land. Andrews explains that the plot is directly next to the bottling plant. This means the company will have no trouble infusing its beverages with the biomass it grows there.
“130 acres is massive, so we’ll be able to extract 100,000 kgs of biomass,” says Andrews. “That can be 10,000 kgs of cannabis oil, or we can also sell it to our nearby partners.”
As part of the agreement, Clearwater’s agricultural consultant, Joey Bedard-Brunet, has agreed to plan and operate the cultivation using GAP (Good Agricultural Practices).
“[Bedard-Brunet] is an experienced agriculturalist and horticulturalist in that region, and brings a great depth of knowledge to the operation,” says Andrews.
As Rich says, BevCanna is known for moving from strength to strength, so it will be exciting to watch what more developments the company has to announce as its products get closer and closer to launch.
