Grande West Transportation Appoints Respected Industry Veteran Manuel Achadinha as COO

Grande West has come into prominence in recent times for emerging as a notable supplier of clean diesel, CNG, and electric buses. Earlier in the week, the company announced that it appointed Manuel Achadinha as its new Chief Operating Officer.

It goes without saying that such a key appointment can have a major long-term effect on the company and hence, it was no surprise that the news was analyzed by the RichTV analyst. One of the most vital things to keep in mind with regards to this appointment is the fact that Achadinha is a seasoned professional and has worked in the transportation industry for more than a quarter of a century.

On the other hand, Achadinha is also a highly skilled operator when it comes to his core competencies. In between 2008 and 2018, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company BC Transit.

At BC Transit, Achadinha was responsible for led the company’s business strategy and was responsible for its evolution and implementation. However, potential investors need to look at the cold hard numbers in order to make up their minds with regards to Achadinha. During his time at BC Transit, the company grew at an impressive pace, and eventually, its revenues grew to $261 million.

On the other hand, the ridership soared to as many as 51 million passengers annually. Grande West will be hoping that Achadinha can work the same sort of magic in his new role.
